Cheese is a dairy product derived from milk and is produced in a wide range of flavors, textures, and forms. It is valued for its portability, long shelf life, and high content of fat, protein, calcium, and phosphorus.

Plant-Based Cheese Making Class 1

In this class, you will be guided through a hands-on vegan cheese-making session. We will make the cheeses from all clean and natural ingredients, and make sure that the overall taste of the cheeses will not be compromised, even without the use of preservatives or chemicals.

We will also teach you the secrets to create:

* PLANT-BASED FETA CHEESE - brined curd cheese originally hailing from Greece. Feta means "slice" in Greek as it is always packaged and sold in blocks.

* LOW FAT CHEDDAR SAUCE - traditional sauce used in English cooking. It is usually based on white sauce (one of the mother sauces) and cheddar cheese.

* PEPPER JACK CHEESE - derivative of Monterey Jack, the original “American” cheese invented by Mexican Franciscan friars of Monterey, California.

Plant-Based Cheese Making Class 2

This class will be fully hands-on, we will cook everything from scratch, and we hope that you will have a lot of fun!

In this workshop, you will get a basic understanding of creating dairy-free cheeses, and the A to Z of making vegan cheeses.

After this class, you will be able to identify all the important ingredients, flavours, and techniques in making plant-based cheese, so you can share these amazing tips about cheeses with your family and friends!

About the Speaker: Ania Wojtkowska (Founder, Living Veggie by Ania)

Originally from Poland, Ania has been living in Singapore for seven years. In 2017, she started developing and expanding the awareness of healthy eating & plant-based diets. To promote her goal, she launched her company - LivingveggiebyAnia.

She graduated from Cornell’s Plant-Based Nutrition course by Dr. Colin Campbell. She also took Plant-based nutrition from Winchester University (UK). In addition, she has experience in numerous cooking schools across Asia and honed her culinary skills.

With easy-to-follow online cooking courses, nutritional workshops, private online consultations, and her Plant Power Academy - she spreads awareness about vegan food that it's not only healthy but tasty too! She will teach you that healthy food is easy to prepare and can change the quality of our life.

Implementing the same food philosophy, Ania is also a consultant for global restaurants where she helps develop and include vegan options in their menu.
